What would have happened if Roe v Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court? Well here what could’ve happened...? Abortion would be illegal in 25 states. These states cover about 1/3 of the country’s population. So if Roe v Wade would’ve been overturned then about 1/3 of the nation’s population would not have the right to abortion. So many women who would want an abortion would have to drive many hours to get to a state that will allow abortion. Many in which may choose to have the unwanted child, or many will suffer serious health risks when they turn to alternative measures like back-alley doctors. Back-alley doctors are locations such as back alley or other non-medical facility which procedures was performed by people who weren't medical professionals and were illegal as were all abortions and had a higher chance of death. Women would risk there life on unsafe and illegal abortions becuase the fact the some states had it illegal for them to get one.
